Sidock Group has been selected by The Newaygo Area District Library to provided design and engineering services for the major renovation of, and addition to, the existing library building. The project consists of a major renovation of the 2 story, 3,500 sq. ft., 1914 Carnegie Library Building, along with 7,500 sq. ft. of additions, which will also connect the existing City Hall with the updated Library. The Library will receive major upgrades to all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as well as aesthetic improvements to the existing façade and a completely new floor plan. While respecting existing components, such as the original tin ceilings, Sidock’s work will result in a new state of the art Library facility for the Newaygo County area.
