Sidock Group, Inc. has been working with Emmet County for the past year on a phased renovation project at our Bay Bluffs Medical Center, a long-term nursing and rehabilitation center in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Their scope of services includes Architectural/Engineering design, bid administration and construction administration.

The Sidock Group design team has been responsive to our needs and they have taken care to keep the project moving as well as possible during the COVID crisis. I have found their project manager, Tim Miller, to be a very capable team leader, and well versed in our project needs. The Gladwin City Housing Commission has worked with the Sidock Group since 2022 on many large projects, including but not limited to:

• New roofs on our 10 duplexes
• New driveways at our 10 duplexes
• New breaker panels at one of our high rises plus the main breaker panels that run the entire 6 story high-rise
• Maple Manor parking lot and patio redesign
• Secured a company for our needs assessment at all three high rises

PIE&G has been working with SGI for several years now to develop a design for its new Headquarters and Service Center. Several design iterations have taken place since our initial meetings and after finalizing our design and program requirements, we began construction in the spring of 2020.

Along the way, it quickly became apparent that SGI’s representatives were well equipped to assist in the identification of our organizational needs and to provide development expertise where needed. The staff was willing to work with us as we suggested or needed to view alternative designs to maintain budgetary integrity and organizational requirements. SGI staff was attentive to our needs and provided a design that we expect to meet PIE&G’s needs for several years to come.

Sidock Group is pursuing a proposal opportunity with Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan Housing Department (SCHD) for their upcoming Permanent Supporting Housing Apartment Complex project.
